its a dealer not valet service so you dont get tips..i think...i did valet for a company before and got some mad tipssss but that was all the company did valet service for rich rich old ppl partys ahahha or big events

I did a valet job at casino niagara in the summer of 98. That was an awesome job. I remember the one time I was parking a viper and scuffed the rim against the curb. Ouch, I was sorry after that. Luckily I didn't lose my job.

I worked at Courtesy Chevrolet one summer as a Car Jockey or "Valet" and it sure as hell didn't pay $8 an hour. Your trusted with generally speaking, $30,000+ cars for almost 12 hours and your paid well.

For $8/hr I'd expect it's a KIA dealership.

Mercedes - $11.50 for "Entry Level"

Subaru - $10.75 for "Valeting"

All jobs I have had over the past couple of summers, all were doing the same thing. I know how much dealerships pay, $8.00 is . It's either Kia or Ford. Cheapskates.

The type of people you get for $8.00 jobs are the kind that take the cars for joy rides and often mash them up.

BTW I hope this is an "entry-level" summer job and not an "entry-level" career. Because if it is, then that's in ridiculous, your making like 55 cents more than minimum wage and your supposed to LIVE off of that.

BWAHAHAHA.

Something to consider as well. A minor fender-bender in a dealer car and you can do more damage than you'll make in 3 months.
