horror movies in general are usually garbage from an acting, script, directing, score, cinematography point of view...but hey for each their own right, is this the type of movie where they have to use loud sounds to scare you? If so im even less interested now than i was (which is at a pretty low interest rate already , get it intrest rate )

special effects are nice on most romero movies (after all, half the time he uses real guts )I love makeup effects, I really wanted to go to school for it, and still might one day. I don't know yet. Tome Savini is like my mentor, his work is great. And he's great guy too. Lot shorter than I always thought, lol.
The score in many horror movies are very good. There are some that are some of the best known scores. But all those are really just a person's POV if they are good or not. Depends on your style, you know? And no, it doesn't have to use loud noises to scare you. Lots of sneaky zombies though. And if you're like me, those buggers are enough. Horror movies in general don't scare me at all, in fact I love the movies, but the only thing that does scare me are zombies. It's dam annoying to be afraid of something so ridiculous, lol. The worst ones were from the remake of DOTD, those things were fast.

oh yeah, and what I forgot to mention before.. the whole Dead series is a Pittsburgh based set of films, all talking part in the area. Although the last one had most major bits filmed in Canada, it was still supposed to be the Pittsburgh area, and when the Dead Reckoning crew goes to the town for supplies, and where the 'zombie attack' comes from, it happens to be Uniontown... which happens to be where I work every day, lol.
