The home was worth over a million dollars but it was in the way of a slow landslide that was risking the safety of alot of other homes. The city thought it was because of the hill, and they kept telling the guy they had to tear the home down so he needed to get his stuff out of the house and evacuate and what not and the home owner refused... Well there was heavy rains expected in the next few days, so for whatever reason they needed to tear down the home before then so the rains wouldn't cause a dangerous landslide, so THEY TORE THE HOUSE DOWN... WITH ALL THE FURNITURE AND VALUABLES IN IT!

Then they found out the landslide was being caused by the fill soil that the developer used... What a mess!

haha yeah but can you imagine the law suit he's going to do? a million dollar mansion definitely had atleast that much in valuables inside... all destroyed... I don't feel bad for him either, but I think it was pretty ballsy of the city to just tear it down anyway.
