ok seriously, this is why i do not like honda, they have very little heritage, you can also do very little to them, they do not go fast, they were not big in the 50's and 60's, you can't do anything to them apperance wise except look stupid, they have no finesse, they only have one purpose to get from point a to point b. they run for f****** ever, but who gives a s***. i want a car i can have fun in, work on, look good in, CUSTOMIZE with out looking like dog s***

I am not some regular *** joe schmoe who will drive anything with 4 wheels, i will not drive a honda, toyota, kia, mitsubishi Nothing, because they do nothing for me. I am not trying to just get from point a to point b.

My car is my life style and if i have to drive something for an everyday driver i am going to drive something i enjoy, i am going to have fun with my car. Gas money is not an issue, i don't care if gas is 5 dollars a gallon i have a good enough job to drive what i want.

We drive corvettes, camaros, firebirds, chevrolet and pontiac for a reason, so if you have a hard on for honda, hand in your keys right now, and just get from a to b.

So f*** honda, and F*** anyone who decideds to "bash" me on this decision.

looks good to me..

I don't know.. Perhaps you were only refering to Honda cars, but either way I would rather spend $20 a month on gas than $20 a day.

My name is Josh, and my daily driver is (will be) a Honda.

...uh, Honda actually has a very rich racing heritage. Jacques Villeneuve was the friggin' spokesperson for Honda for a while. He was doing Honda commercials like Gretzky is doing Ford commercials now.

Lamborghini and Lotus were not very big in the 50's and 60's either. So? And the F-platform wasn't around until the LATE 60s anyway.

Can't you just tell he's not that much of a new car kinda person? He likes what he likes, and that is older, cooler cars from another time. Muscle in particular. I know a lot of people like that.

I still say go for it, whatever makes you happy is the best decision you can make. I understand your point of view completely. In this house, we feel the same way pretyy much. But we do drive other unloved cars till we can manage to afford what we really want. I want my dd in the next couple of years to be a newer T/A most likely. That way no worries about Mayhem's condition as much from work, like dents and all that.

My point is that its not just fbodys, chevrolet has a much larger renowned racing heritage than honda, or even a majority of the manufactuers. the old salt flat racing with the belairs and the old ford coupes, that is heritage, they made history down there.

As far as other people driving honda cars thats fine, that is what suits you best, it dosen't suit me though.

Also i was talking cars, i would totally drive an R1. but ive also been looking at the ducatis. A bike is also a lot harder to drive every day in washington.
