Liter bikes are fast, but not invincible..

I know a few cars that ROAST liter bikes on the highway (until they run out of gear) where the bikes usually don't. Most of the domestics out of the dig on a tire also will also "ROAST" most LITER bikes (that cant be said for the street car fwd imports)...

Not to sound like a dick, but judging from your avatar you drive a 350z. and what, in your dreams it runs 12 seconds ? Maybe when you step up to something a bit faster (2+ seconds faster) you will see the light.

In my expert opinion, owning a 350z and praying on stock cavaliers does not make you an expert in running liter bikes (not sound like a dick of course).

PS. post some pics of your 350z...if you have one.
OUCH!!

A) How did you know that I prey on stock cavaliers?

B) Something faster, like say, 93 mustang? Obviously anything can be made to go fast, even a 93 mustang. Don't tell me that when I step up to something faster bla bla bla ...Out of the box a 93 mustang with the 5.0 is not that fast.

C) In my dreams my Z has a TT so that my friend would be in the 11s.

D) "TON" of elements is just about it but honestly who is gonna lug around an extra 1000 lbs anyways? Especially on a car that weighs less than 2500 lbs. I can't think of anything reasonable that would allow a 400 hp civic keep up with one that has 600 hp.

My post was not intended to start a pissing contest and how fast you and I both are, just a statement about the legitimacy of your post. I was gonna say 400hp and nothing but a driver's seat but I guess I got lazy.

BTW here is a pick of my Z.

DOOOOOH!!

I hope atleast it got a laugh out of you.

lol. I ran a TT Z at St.Thomas last fall. He was running Mid 13's on slicks and skinnies.

Also, Big bikes run 10's because they can't catch grip. Ever try and launch a 1000cc bike @ the track ? Watch that front tire come up, you have to throttle it into second.

Also, I know of NO 300whp TURBO Civics runnins low 11's. I mean for an all motor car it sure can, but a turbo one .. I doubt it. The bike was probably just playing with you.

driver makes a big difference. ive seen fast cars run slkow times. alot of people are just learnign a car too so you cant base their times on that. hell my car on the stock motor went 13.9 and the built one the only apss i made which was just full of wheel hop and short shifting was a 15.3 at like 103 mph, lol.

as said above, bikes are fast but not invincible. my buddys 180 would take on 600 cc bikes all the time and usually end up leaving them behind him. but that was a 128 mph car

Why would I have a 13.0 at 120 car? Oh, cause I'm the worst driver in the world, fair enough. I guess I'm assuming I'm not a horrible driver but then again you never know, I very well may be.

You guys are funny.

To add, this 180, is it a 300 hp car? Most likely not.

you dont need good tires when you don't even own a car but pretend you do.
Best part about hopes and dreams is you can post on a forum like you know something. Wedge, doesn't have a TT 350. He doesn't have anything. A while back he said he would post pics of his 350, but guess what

Only thing thats ever been fast in Cambridge was Penmans closing down.

And there is no pissing match, trust me. Difference between you and i, i don't need to pretend i have a fast car.

Liter bikes can go down at the hands of many vehicles, including a nicely done turbo civic.

Not exactly a street car.. LOL but yes, that would unload on a liter stock street bike (now put it up against a full out drag bike)....

Anyhow, dropping a 1 liter bike is possible. Dropping a 600cc bike is far more feasible.

But, proof is in the pudding, post a video.

I never said I'd post pics, I do recall something about detailing though.
I would post pics of my Z but I don't feel I need to validate myself to you. Besides, if I had posted pics of my Z you'd probably say it wasn't mine anyways so why bother. But thanks for doubting that I do own one cause with that you do admit it is a desirable car. Thanks

Let's go back a bit here,

I never said any sport bike is invincible, just that a 300 Whp civic wouldn't hold a 600.

I commented on your post of 400-600Hp. Do you realise how huge of a margin that is. And we're talking about a race from a roll. And with that I'm not saying it isn't possible from a 400hp gutted civic. Everyone is going on and on about 1/4 mile and the right tires but this was a street race from a roll!!!! I guess you should have just said a gutted 400 Hp Civic could take a 600.

You never made a single constructive rebuttal to my post, just a bunch of BS you have drummed up about myself/car. Why is that? You are being childish and you don't know me from squat.

I'd take my slow *** Z (I am humble enough to admit that my Z is SLOW) over your faster than anything in Cambridge Stang anyday.

I can't believe how far this has escalated.

Judge, please read back to my previous posts, my statement was based on a 300 Whp Civic holding a 600cc sport bike. The OP said he was doing 80 when all of this started and raced to probably just >180 as the speedo maxed out, 600s are still strong at that point. Never did I say that a sport bike of any size is untouchable.

first off, the title is ME VS CBR600... Its now two pages of my mustang is faster than your Z???

Second, ET doesnt mean in a rolling start race. Post traps. Your 1.5 60ft doesnt mean *****. (I know it cause I drive an AWD)

Third, the only pictures that have been called for are for some guy with an opinion and a nissan?!

Original poster show a picture of your 'gutted 300hp bike-slaying civic' and you will either be a hero or a homo... (Im guessing we will never see a picture of your car and you know which one that makes you)

[end rant]
