So you all know how i got pulled over and all, well i got the fines in and they aint too pretty. Anyway what i need your help with has to do with the cop that gave me them. so i started hanging out with this chick from the area and we both like each other well she got a message on her phone from that cop sayin that im a big druggie and that she should stay away from me, i got her to save the message but she wont go to the magistrate with me or anything im pretty sure i could get him for slander, a cop cant say something like that about someone. I dont know what to do about this it is complete ********. Now i ask her to come with me to do somethin about it and she doesnt want to get involved i wont get anywhere because i dont have the proof its on her phone. wtf should i do. im not goin to put up with a pervert cop thats just looking for a peice of ***, saying **** about me. this is ****** up [/rant] Any opinions are welcome.

thats so messed up but i definatly wouldnt just ignore it but u should just try to fight it and tell them what happened and if they need proof then deal with getting the proof then or maybe they can get it from her im not sure excatly what they can do but u should definatly try and get him for slander or something cause thats just not right.

thats complete **** i wish i had better advice to give u on what to do but i dont really know that much about legal stuf because all the tickets and stuff ive had there was no point in fighting, but maybe u should talk to another cop and let him know what happened and maybe he could help u out on what to do.

I dont think its right that a cop as a professional should say things like that. Isnt the phone registered in her name? If she doesnt go, just take her phone and go, they should find records of the ESN and it should link to her name, if the phone is in her name. I say do somthing about it, then you could always use this as collateral and say he pulled you over just becuase he doesnt like you or whatever. Its discriminating.

Yea thats what im goin to do i think. My professor for criminal justice is a cop in the town next to us so next week in class im goin to ask him about it what to do and what not, it just pisses me off i cant beleive he did that. that would be sweet too if i got them fines off almost 400 in fines.

The phone is the key, you must have it regardless to make your case. But the cop can probably just say someone else used hos phone or whatever. This all comes down to the judge really. I don't think you will get all the fines removed (maybe reduced) and the cop will probably just get bitched at if that.
