If only canada had this:

1. If you migrate to this county, you must speak the national language.

2. You have to be a professional or an investor. No unskilled workers allowed.

3. There will be no special bilingual programs in schools, no special ballots for elections.
All government business must be conducted in the common national language.

4. Foreigners will NOT have the right to vote, no matter how long they live here.

5. Foreigners will NEVER be able to hold political office.

6. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps,
no health care, or other government assistance programs.

7. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount equal to 40,000 times
the daily minimum wage.

8. If foreigners do come and want to buy land that will be okay, BUT options will be restricted. You cannot own waterfront property. That is reserved for citizens born in this country.

9. Foreigners may not protest: no demonstrations, no waving a foreign flag, no political organizing, no badmouthing of its national policies. If you do, you will be sent back home.

10. If you come to this country illegally, you will be hunted down and sent straight to jail.

Ya, if you live here you should at least have a rudementary grasp of english or french (both written and spoken), have to pass OUR driving exams (not that they are hard, read english traffic signs and understand them) and are not allowed gov assistance unless you have already put at least quadruple into the ecomomy, so if you've been here for 10yrs and put 80k into ontario/canada, then yer allowed 20k in assistance, or you can be on assistance for a limited amount of time (like 6 months max) and then you MUST pay back the assistance + interest (just like OSAP) and once its payed back, you can go back on again and so on. Ive seen way to many people come here from outside and immediatly file for welfare (not all ppl mind you, I know layers and some immigration lawyers and Ive seen it first hand, its total B.S.). I think you must earn your citezinship, I understand its tuff - you cant get a job unless you have a SIN# and you cant get one unless yer a citezen, so have something like a work visa only that your employer gives yer pay to the gov and they give you some back and hold some for you, or something and you can not send more than 10% of yer pay "back home" - point is we need a better system, especially now as we're on the verge of another recession.

Just a thought, how much better would ontario/canada be if all those who come here and earn $$$ put it back in the economy instead of sending it all back "home" (noble actions, but just a thought), I dont care what you do or who you are, just dont be a huge burden if you dont need to be, sick and elderly ppl are some exceptions as are refuges (shitty spot they're in) but once you can put back into society - do it, dont mooch for decades.

I know man, I just find it funny that in their country you must speak the national language, but in other peoples they want to change the national anthem to their language! If you want to be part of another country then you should respect their heritage. W.T.F., mate, W.T.F.

I don't agree with a lot of that. It's already hard enough for people to move to a different country. You can't do unless ur a citizen. So you gotta work hard to get a citizenship and then once you get ur act together you have to pay more than sombody that was born here and doesn't appreciate where they live cuz they don't know how much it sucks to live in other countries? (not all of course but if ur coming form a 3rd world country or something) Besides. Just cuz you were born here doesn't mean your roots dont go back to europe. Unless you're an Aboriginal. Its funny how everyone has a comment on some that doesn't really concern them. Just trying to make other ppls life harder. I've met a ton of ppl born in canada that are worthless and mooch off the system. It doesn't matter where you're from. Ppl are like that everywhere.

Edit: If you're so big on giving back to ontario/canada. Don't ***** about high taxes. Why don't YOU go and donate some money for something if you think its so important.
