Like always I seem to have buyers remorse after I buy something expensive. Now I think I should have went DLP but even though the TV would have been bigger I sit way to close to the TV to be able to enjoy the benefits of DLP. I have been looking for a stand and so far no luck. I cannot seem to find one that is the right height I want. So I'm going to just try to reinforce the old pecan cabinet to see if it will hold up to the weight. The only thing I should have to do is increase it's depth while adding some L brackets to hold it to the floor.

id be careful trying to rig up some old cabinet to hold up a $1200+ tv cause if that thing breaks and that tv hits the ground it will probably ruin ur day:banghead:

just wait until you want to see real hd, that's the expensive cable (dvi runs about $50 a foot, hdmi is a couple bucks cheaper on the low end)
