I don't understand it either. Everyone will have some kind of problems come up but you work through them and end up stronger than you were before. I'm possitive my wife and I will not get a divorce because we both know it's for life.

Yeah I agree... You prettymuch spoke my mind Joe, its just sad to see what the world is coming to, and the divorce rates getting so high, its rediculous. Thats why I hate hearing the L word getting tossed around... So many people think marriage isnt ****, and it pisses me off. It should be taken very seriosuly.

Thats right, thats why i want to make sure its the right time for it. If the person (or people) are just not ready to settle down that much - they shouldnt. Most people dont take marrage that seriosuly anymore, kinda devalues the whole thing. I think it should be the most important thing ever!

it was high not sure of the % but it was up there (half my school at least were from divorced families and we were a small town)

yeah- the divorce rate is pretty sad- makes our country look bad. I think its ridiculous that people blame tv for it- tv can't make anyone do anything. If I watch CSI, that doesn't mean that I can spot a human hair underneath a shower drain from the next room..so how can it make people get divorced?

All it boils down to is people wanting to have an excuse for their actions and not take personal responsibility..its sad. It seems as though there are more and more syndrome's everyday for another person acting weird.

I think it comes down to is Americans have been spoiled since the 50's and has just gotten worse, and when we don't get our way we throw a tantrum and storm off
