cant do it on a razr....there isnt anything to play it with. unless you have one of the new razrs that just came out, yours doesnt play mp3s. and if you do have one that plays mp3s, use the bluetooth on your phone to connect to your computer. thats what i do. dont buy any retarded cable that can only be able to use on that one phone......just an idea

Easy.
Step 1 - Take phone in hand
Step 2 - place phone in waste basket
Step 3 - Turn on iPod
Done - now you have music. All these phones coming out that play MP3s are making the hundereds of dollars we spent on MP3 players wasted. And to think - in my day a phone was used to, get this, call people. My how times have changed.

To answer your question easily, thats why they made a manual. I had to open mine to figure out how to transfer music as well.
Second, I bought a new LG phone with 2 crazy speakers on it that play so loud ... Its got a mini SD slot and all sorts of VCast goodies. I think its cool that phones are used for all sorts of stuff these days. Technology.

-first you need to have a computer that has bluetooth. if it doesnt, you can buy a usb bluetooth adapter for like $35.
-turn bluetooth on on your phone (on the razr it says temporarily turn it on)
- make sure that it is turned on, on your computer as well
-you can do it from either one, but its a little easier with your computer....click search for devices. once it finds the phone, it will ask for a code. the code is 0000
-by entering the code it, it syncs the two bluetooth addresses together. so now once you come near your computer, your phone should recognize it and connect to it.
-in order to put things on your phone you need to go to 'My Bluetooth Places" and in there you will find your phone as an icon. click it and the folders will be in there to do whatever with.

if it's for ringtones,
you can take files on your computer and convert them to the proper format (for mine it's m4a) and upload them to here:
http://www.funformobile.com/index.php
and get a download link and download the ringtone from the website.
you get your own WAP account to host files from.
for free.
word.
don't ever buy a ringtone again.
