Picked up my new car today, no its not a V8 sorry folks but its a F-Body still.

2002 Firebird A4 Sunset Orange
79,000 miles
We paid around 7 grand.


The car runs as if brand new....looks new to besides a few scratch marks on the front and one on the back...nothing bad or noticeable. I will say I really love the car its a dam fun ride. It has 3.42s but no LSD but its still nicer then the 3.08s.

I know it's early but what are you plans for it? I'm thinking Trans Am bumper/hatch, TTII's or something similar, and a WS9 hood.

Agreed, Texas can celebrate Christmas when you have to spend 15 mins every morning scraping ice and warming your car up in the morning and having an extra long drive to work/school because you can't drive over 15mph(not streching the truth) without just sliding across all the lanes and crashing.

nice. my favorite F-body color! i say T/A rear bumper and high rise spoiler/hatch for sure and WS9 hood. i love the ram air formula look. T/A rear bumper is a must tho IMO. mind if i ask why you didnt step up to LSx?

Well, cost wise....there were no LS1s around in my price range that I liked. When I get a V8 sports car I want EXACTLY what i want.....they all had to many miles or were modded.....so I just plan to finish college or whatever then get the car I want. That or just engine swap for the birdy

i feel the same way. but only on a 4th gen. most 3rd gens have v8s in em so they aren't hard to find for cheap. but when i get a 4th gen its gonna be a SOM or a black 98+ish t/a ws6 6 spd. thats my dream car. oh yeah t tops
