nice town, nowhere near detroit or flint in MI, or even prichard AL. All carrying a gun around does is get you killed, because most people don't have the training to use one correctly (especially a hand gun) I also hope you get a ccw permit, prison is not a great place for a young guy.I sold all my guns when I moved from atlanta, and never felt I needed one, and worked in the ghetto of flint (actually more dangerous than detroit, but fewer people).If you shoot someone on the street, you beter hope they fired first, since most places you just commited murder, and will spend the rest of your life behind bars (self defense may get you off, but less often than the media makes you think)

Gary was the murder capital for the US for a long time. I've been there just passing through and it taught me it's not even worth stopping because it's such a horrible place.

Just curious, how old are you(didn't think you were 21)? Oh and I would not consider a 9MM to be a gun with knock down power, unless your shooting something like a muskrat.

Just paid $25 filled out some paperwork and got finger printed then received it in like a month

It's not a bad place compared to Flint trust me, the Detroit people are scared of Flintit's just not as big, is second among it's group (which includes Gary IN which is 6th in that catagory)
