Need a new cell phone carrier, any opinions?
Right now I have a Virgin Mobile slider and it just flat out sucks. I received the phone as a gift so to be nice I use it but with a pre paid phone you always have to watch how much you talk. So now I'm looking for a normal carrier. As of right now I'm looking at Sprint, T-Mobile , Verzion Wireless, and Centennial Wireless. I was looking at Cingular but their customer service pissed me off to the point where they will not get my business even if they gave air time away for free. I was hoping to get some opinions from some of the people here that use (have used) these carriers. I don't need a big plan so odds are it will be in the $30-40 area.
Thanks for the input,
Chris

most of the time, the best carrier varies a lot from area to area. What areas they cover by you, and the places you may need to call. My dad has verizon, he likes it. When I was looking Sprint/T-mobile were pretty good looking plans(just didn't cover the areas that I wanted), but I ended going with CellOne(cause they were the only one that did cover the areas).

yeah att/cingular can lick my ******* too. they put our payments on some dormant account instead of our account so they sent a bill collector after us when we had been paying for 6 months. their accounting sucks *** and their customer service is even worse. then theres their so called "phone service". bull-*******-****.

sprint works good for me.
We were going to go to ATT at one point but we got all the way through the process of activating the phones and the customer service rep was activating our account and ATT said they wanted a $200 deposit per line, and we were installing 3 lines. So, needless to say, we ****** did NOT go with them.. ********.
