The 'new' Amityville Horror...

Just saw it today, and it was pretty good. Normally remakes suck, but this one didn't. I think I'll be buying it when it comes to DVD.

yeah, it was good. Really good. Even Ryan liked it, and he usually hates to be taken against his will to see 'my' horror movies.

I loved the orginal, I hated the remake. I was just not into it at all. I think the sets and everything were awesome, and the acting was good, I just didn't like how the redid it. But im seriously tired of remakes, why want people try to be orginal. Im tired of old horror remakes and Japense remakes. AHHHH!

usually I'm tired of remakes also(i despised the remake of TCM), but if you view this one as just another interpretation of the events that went on, its a good one. Only part that kinda was real off(to me) was the indian torture area. That was really off, and was only briefly mentioned in the book that the area may have been an indian buriel ground.
