Ok I was talking to my new job to set up the training schedule and it looks like they want me to start on the 25th instead of the 23rd as that's the begining of their week and that way they can set me up with the state's training manager.
My last day with Panera is Thursday the 19th so I get six days off. It'll suck because I'll lose a week's pay but it'll be nice to have the time off. I'll use it to get some stuff done to the car and clean up the condo.

You can ask Panera if they want you to work a few more days. They might not have a replacement set up in time. I once charged my company a much higher fee (consultant rate) to continue working a few more days, even while I was on the work schedule of my new job (the employer I still have now).
