His car (No sponsorship potential in my opinion)

Some DC5's with actual potential to be picked up...

on a serious note, i'm a big DC5 fan and his car is pretty clean and sleek. i just don't think he will get a sponsorship.

before u jump on the bandwagon and attack me, look at it this way. how much $$$ does he have in his ride right now? from the looks of it, it doesn't look like a whole lot. a potential sponsor needs to see that you're dedicated enough to spend money and keep buying products. geez, he doesn't even have rims (again, not bashing, but putting out a fact).

also, they look at show attendance. so let's suppose this guy has attended many shows. what did that get him? probably not much since his car is not very modified. all these things add up. (and we're not talking about ghetto parking lot shows)

again, keep in mind, we're talking about SPONORSHIPS! not what his car looks like right now or whether it's good in my book.

i would get a black DC5 myself, drop it, powder coat the stock wheels flat black and from there on it's all out assault on the K20...so my personal preference would be very close to where his ride is at right now. but then again, this is about sponsorships?

You're on a racing forum so post some pics of your ride at the track....or do you actually race...have you ever even run down the 1/4 mile....you in poser

You like to yap a lot about other peoples rides and races...you might have a leg to stand on if you had some credibility... can you even post a timeslip for your car....can you even back your mouth up with a race...

websters car is clean = cute keep it that way....
but remeber no car is sponcorship material, if the company wants you to represent them, they will ask you....don't matter how nice or fast your car is...(in general)
I turned down a sponcorship with my first car...company(raceworld) seen my ride at a show and they asked me...i turned it down why? b/c I did not like the contract..pretty much 2 years and my car wasn't really mine
ok they would have done everything motor/turbo/system and paint job i already had the kit that they wanted ...but anywaz i could go on but on that note you shouldn't really want to be with a company b/c if they need your car for a show they will come and get it with or with out you ....
and plus don't you want the "hard on" hahaha that you did your car by your self???..i don't no my .2

you have to prove your car is a winner before you get any sponsorship, or prove that you can build a winner time and time again, well i guess the pics show what i thought...not a bad car but not even close to getting a sponsorship , but if you buy say $5000 of parts from someone i am sure they will give you a deal and give you a sticker to put on your car, then you can call that sponsorship if you want.
