right most insurance companies do if it's a 2 door it's a sports car if 4 door it's a sedan (a friend of mine had a chevette in hs that the insurance listed as a sports car)

And likewise, coupes to insurance companies are considered sports cars. 4 doors are sedans. Any car that has 2 doors automatically gets higher insurance because they consider it a sports car, plain and simple.

Don't even compare? Maybe they're more different in person, but in those pics they're almost identical. The only difference I see is one has cloth seats and one has leather (and a different seat style).. One has two vents directly infront of the passenger and one doesn't. What crack you smokin?

Werd, who said they'd take a stang over a C5? I'd take a C5 over a Stang anyday... that's like comparing a Cadillac to a Honda Civic (for the record, I don't consider a civic sporty at all). But, I'd keep my fbody over a C5 just because I prefer the fbody's looks.

wow, you need to calm down about the whole thing. What's so wrong with someone wanting an F-body or Mustang over a Vette? Did it ever occur to you that they might not like the looks of a Vette? In particular that generation of Vette? Just because you like them so much, doesn't mean that everyone else has to. Not everyone like the same thing. It's all a matter of PERSONAL opinion. Its not that unheard of for someone to choose Camaro over Corvette, I've known quite a few like that. And I wouldn't just constantly talk crap about red9450's Mustang, its pretty good, and he's working on making it even better.. Just because you don't like Mustangs doesn't mean they aren't a "real car". He probably has one of the faster cars on the site, and you insist on insulting it? Why? That's just ridiculous. With attitudes liike that, we'll never grow into a bigger board, or attract new members.

Id like to own a vette, my buddy just got a 97 zr1 i think thats the year he said, its nice, before i bought my 98 fbird i was going to buy my dads friends 94 targa vette, but my dad wanted me to get somethin newer with a warranty and all, now he dont care what i do as long as i pay the rest of this formula off
