The New York Mets had a poll on their website to decide which song to play during the game. Most if not all baseball teams have these that are played during the seventh inning stretch. Well since their poll was setup on the internet the nerds took over and there were five million votes for Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up".

Then when they played it at the game the crowed booed during the entire song.
The Mets are now using the next six songs that came out on the poll.
