So I came here from Romania , a modest and shy kid , with lack of trust in my own forces . In fact I NEED TO THANK CANADA , for changing all of that . AND ESPECIALLY TSR . Because when I started interacting with people here , I went to the other extreme getting a superiority complex . Here I was a 50% student in romania , called a brainiac by all the smart kids in school .
So yea ... I am sorry for beating my chest . I shouldn't even do it that much , and i'll try to change ... i should keep things for myself
Also to get things straight , I'm not wealthy by far . All I said is that I don't need to count cents and look for discounts like your parents tought you .

and even more short stories . This one is called , "Why steal a car and go to jail , when you could bribe the govt and steal 1.5 million ... and not go to jail"
So I'm sorry but I can't remember the name of people involved but as you know , the high scale coruption arround the canadian govt has started to get uncovered in the past year or so .
So here's some 60 year old guy who managed to bribe his way into steling 1.5 mil from the govt . He gets caught and he gets taken to court .
Some time passes and the canadians decide on the best punishment for this guy .
1) house arrest for 3 years . he has a 21:00 curfew or however u spell that . But in the weekends he doesn't so he could go clubbing .
2) comunity service , to teach at a university .
BUT WAIT . NOT JUST ANY COURSE IN UNIVERSITY EH !
It was decided that THE BEST thing for this guy to teach is
( DRUMROLL , icing on the CAKEs comming up )
BUSINESS ETHICS .

So yea , Rita is spinning arround Texas , and everybody is affraid of it hitting and gas prices going up . Stock market shows the barrel of oil , cheaper than the prior day .
But what happens in Canada . Well not all over Canada , but small cities where they figure people arn't educated enough to catch on .
Well the gas price jumps from 1 $ to 1.80 even 2.00 in Paris . ( Big *** paris from ontario , not nice *** paris from france ) . Everybody is in crisis getting gas so it doesn't go up . Better educated cities still raise their price at least 10 cents .
But THE PRICE FOR GAS on the stock market , never goes up . People are lining up in the street to get gas .
Now ... who's making fun of who .

Eastern europe has the fastest moving economy nowdays . Because he can't understand rational words . What do you do in that case . A stupid dog bites you ... u're gonna argue with it , or kick it ?
But anywais , polsky rusky cakersky can sleep eazy because ultimatelly I don't like resorting to violence and I won't . There were just things i've said when the little looser managed to create some anger in me . I'm especially sorry for kind of dissing polish people , it was a thing of the moment born from combining polsky-rusky's igonrance with the stupidity of my Super ( who is from poland , but acts like she has a job with our government ) .

oh and i forgot my last short story . this is related to health and it's a real punchline because it was told to me by a canadian who's never left this country .
So I'm talking to this guy about the back problems i've had and how stupid doctors were . And he starts telling me a story , that happened some good 15 years ago when he was a small kid .
For some reason , he didn't want to go shopping with his parents , and as he got back in the house started faking that he's hurt his hand outside . The parents freaked out , thinking that his wrist is broken .
So they took him to the doctor . There was NOTHING wrong with his hand ( at least that's what he said ) , but because stuff had gotten so stirred up , he was affraid to tell the doctor : "I was just faking it"
The parents told the doctor that it looks like the kids wrist is broken . The doctor said he'll do an X-RAy . supposedly he did ... supposedly ...
Because even if the kid was faking it , he did the X-RAy which confirmed that the wrist was broken . So poor guy had to wear a cast on his wrist for 3 weeks , without any pain .
Lovely eh ...

zapa, i understand where u coming from. i didnt read teh whole thread. read like 4 pgs.
I agree about some things in this country, but your stories don't add up to things i've experienced in Africa. Coming from the second poorest country in teh world, i've seen a lot.
Healthcare: Be happy that we have a system here that will help you in times of emergency. Doctors in Africa won't attend to you until you pay up. You might be 5 mins from dying, but theres no ambulances to pick you up. Its up to ur family to get you to the hospital in a Wheel Barrow only to find that there is no running water or all doctors are on strike at the Hospital.
Police: 1 word: Corruption. Our house had a burglary, and we called the cops. What do the cops say? Come pick us up, we have no transport. How do you protect yourself? Get 2 Rottweilers. Speed all you want, theres no cops pulling you over for speeding, but theres no cops stopping idiots from driving drunk in the daytime or driving a car with no lights at all at night.
So be happy with what Canada has to offer you and appreciate that we have a proper system here.
You're making fun of the other guy being house cleaners! I thought you would have enough sense in you not to go down to that dumbass POLSKY's level of arguing. Atleast cleaning the house will get food on ur plate every night. 40% of the population was unemployed from where i came from.
