Photoshoots
What's with em?
I never really got into that of taking pictures of your car with other cars. But....
Tonight at work I saw 20+ civics roll to my work and do a group shot. It was cool cuz I knew a few people there and theres prolly a few on here that post. And it didn't seem as weird as I thought it would... But still, not my style. I'm guessing it comes with the mentality of owning a civic? (I'm actually being serious and not hating on that comment.)
I posted this in the section I predict it would end up in anyway.

If you have notice, most that are into photo shoots are import owners. They do it to make themselves feel good about the lump they bought. Its also away for them to remember what their lump looked like just before the cops pulled it off the road and crushed.

As for group photoshoots, it is cool if the cars are "rare", like 30+ supras together.

Still waiting for someone to step up and supply the shop and car to do it. But as usually, no one will do it. I guess they are all scared that I will prove them wrong.
Ya, you can see 30+ supras in the same place at the scrap yard were they belong.

I believe I said that was the address that I could be found at. Its York regional police headquarters. But then I guess you are not smart enough to get the humour in posting that address. Now run along like good little whinner you are and read some more book times that you can quote here.
You should be careful though, my knowledge of building fast cars will always out weigh your book knowledge of slow cars. I don't live in a fanasty world of books and pipe dreams. I live in reality and will beat your *** with anything I want too.

I think photoshoots are fun.
Most people do them to show off their cars and post em on the internet.
Im gonna be doing a shoot soon for my site. Its all mostly for fun and to get nice pics of all the cars together...
For me its also an opportunity to work on my photography skills

no way in hell a reliable $5000 10 second setup can be made. sure, exclude the price of a stock d-series civic. even if you get a cheap block and build it, i'll be like 3000 over. turbo and tuning will cost over $2000. sure, you can run a 300-shot of nos and maybe pull 11 or 12 seconds if your motor doesnt blow up after you press the button

Holy **** people relax.
I think photoshoots are fun, when you get a bunch of the same type of modifed cars, I mean it's jsut a good time. Group shots of you and your biddies cars are always fun.
Seeing a few a lot or even a single modified car kind of artistically shot is cool, I've always liked it.You can emphisize some of your mods too or whatever... Especially if you can get a real cool backdrop to shoot it.
Example :
Check the Original Paint on this 89 Turbo Grand Prix !

Dude, you do need a reading lesson. With that said maybe you can read this Go FORK yourself.
Now back to the other parts. Photo shoots are for the wantabe racers or ones that think they are cool. Ya, its ok to take some photos of your car. Maybe in the different stages of a build or an awsome paint job. But to go around and gather up a bunch of lumps to have them in the shot is just gay. Random and unprepaired is better and makes for better pcitures.
