first of all like i said the ending. also the big sea creature thing. as well as the tribe on the island. i guess i shouldnt say so much, that it didnt make sense, more that alot of it was completely unneccesary. serisouly, they mixed and intertwined so many characters. i think thats what im getting at. just so much going on, it kinda gets outa hand.

I think it was by $20-30 million, something like that.

"Dead Man's Chest" took in more than $132.2 million its first weekend in theaters. That pull allowed the sequel ... to claim the highest opening weekend in box-office history. "Pirates" wins the title away from "Spider-Man," which earned nearly $115 million when it debuted in 2002. "Dead Man's Chest" also holds the single-day record, earning $55.5 million Friday — taking the crown from "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith," which made $50 million on its first day in May 2005.

Johnny Depp and his pirate friends are keeping all the box-office treasure for themselves. Depp's "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" remained the top movie for the third straight weekend, hauling in $35 million and lifting its total to $321.7 million after just 17 days, according to studio estimates Sunday.
The Disney sequel passed the $305 million domestic total that its predecessor, 2003's "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," rang up during its entire six-month run.
