PQD (Paarman Question of the Day)
What was your very first computer?
I remember we got this old as Apple IIGS. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Im talking like super old school Apple, with the huge black actual floppy disks. The 5.25" ones haha. There were no games on it, nothing of any relevence at all. Finally, I broke it becuase I put a floppy disk in upside down (the disk said double sided). SO yeah, I fd that one up haha. I was like 10.
The one I used most when I grew up tho was my moms compaq. 233mhz processor, like 16mb ram, and a 2 gig hd lol. I couldnt use 2 gigs now if my life depended on it. I have a 3500+, gig of ram, and 250 (going to get a 300gig hd also this week, so 550 gb) hd. Computers have come such a long way.

First comp was like 400mhz with like 400mb of HD and like 64mb of RAM. Lasted us like 2 years until I got my actual e-Machine that was MINE. Bought and paid for. THat lasted me like 2.5 years.

Yeah, its funny how far computers have gotten since then.
All I can recall is that my dad had a really old mac that I played word games on, and it was the ****. Then my dad got a newer one, and started playing the first Star wars game on it ... And I watched him shoot the deathstar. Haha, that was WAY back.

My families very first computer was before the big floppy drives even. I remember my dad had to buy the parts and build it himself because you couldn't buy a PC already made at that time. The keyboard was huge and you had to put the "games" right into the keyboard on large, I mean large cartigaes.
