Not to long ago they got the first pictures of a live giant squid as well.
I watched that on tv.. They put down a camera with some food attached to it and the camera took pictures like every few seconds.. They finally caught the giant squid on camera (and one of its legs on the hook). But thats crazy on how much we don't know about..

I think the giant squids are the coolest thing down there that we know of (and even though we have proof, we have yet to see one alive with our own eyes...only a camera has caught sight of them)

Yeah, it really sucks it died shortly after it was found. It would be cool to study it and find more marine life like it. I was thinking maybe it came up from the deep sea cuz it was dying... like how goldfish float to the top when they kick the bucket?

after watching it again, that thing is just weird looking... Its like somthign that has been mutated or somthing... just crazy. Ive always thought since I was a kid thats theres probably things in size deep down there that put the blue whale to shame.

I just looked up the giant squid... damn those things look crazy. That kinda **** creeps me out.. The water is too mysterious.
