question

i feel really stupid rite now can any one explane the difrence between a super cgarger and a blower? a blower just blows air threw your carb or throttle body and a super charger acualty compresses it in your cylinders? am i rite

super charger is the proper term for blower, they are the same thing

Yeah but unlike a turbo it's always there, even at idle. Makes the car sound pretty mean in my opinon.

Oh and superchargers and turbochargers both do the same thing, push more air into the engine through the intake. The difference is how they do it, the turbo uses the exhaust while the supercharger is pulley driven. Both have their ups and downs but both can create a huge amount of extra power.

yeah for sure!! I work for asphault paving company and you should see the size of the turbos on the pavers!! their so big!!
