Notorious VR wrote on the .com..
And i want to reply to it, and cant there cause well. you know.

Anyways, it’s a load of crap, least when I look at it from Marks view. Saschas motives I cant comment on, hes a good guy, can run the site well but hes just a puppet in all this, and he doesn’t realize that mark is/will capitalize… just like when he flipped TSR.

Initially when mark broke up with Jesse on gtcars, it was over money. When mark sold tsr, it was for money. When Mark reneged on selling the .com it was over money.

Issues started to arise on the .com when Mark was providing free advertising for certain vendors with the hopes of getting a sponsorship. That was fine for a while but it got tiresome. 7 months passed and we have 2 vendors promoting their sites and not paying? What gives, that was not right to the vendors who did pay.
On the February 5th, Mark was to talk to a certain vendor in regards to the above issue at the Wholesale vendor day. He didn’t. On that same day I had him sign a binding contract as to who owned what on the site, he signed, it was witnessed.

For the last 2 months i had been debating to leave the site as i no longer wanted to fight with people, people i knew in person and had to work/deal with.
Mark seen a different direction for the site, **** and nasty pictures.. Yes, its all funny and his its place, but not on a site that was to be dedicated to drag racing.
I offered to sell my work to Mark and Sascha (notorious VR) and marks reply was “there’s no way im paying that”. Then mark said BUY ME OUT. He wanted $3000 for 7 months of doing nothing. NOTHING. 0, NADA. He threatened to shut the site down, and I reminded him of the contract he signed, remember I had money and time invested. We agreed on a sale price of his half for $1500.00. I was on my way down to pay him when while on the qew when he called and changed his mind.

The following days he must have been making contacts as he called me and said he had a buyer for the whole site, and that he would be making his $3000 that he DESERVED.

Now mind you, mark did nothing for the site. All work was done by myself. All the coding, all the html, everything. I paid for watermarking software and even the gallery license, graphic design.
Currently up for debate is my roll in starting the site.
On Monday, July 11, 2005 10:10 PM I came up with the name 1320drag. Mark took the funds he was going to give me ($500) from the sale of TSR and used it towards the VB license and server cost. And I offered to setup a forum and html.

So on the 15th of February I decided I was no longer going to keep waiting for this mysterious company to buy us out. I took my work and my sql and everything and moved it to www.1320drag.net
After calling mark to let him know that I was going to be focusing on my new site, and that I would return every now and then to the .com to ‘collect’ he got irate on the phone. I guess me taking my work vs his $2000 in deals this year was not fair…. To him… like he said at this point, this was no longer about friendship…..
Mark jumped on the opportunity and made me an offer to buy out what was left of the site. Again, a new contract was made up, he paid me, it was signed and witnessed, I moved on. Mark got the better end of the deal as that site is very popular, with a page rank of 3 in Google even… because of my work. But I was happy to let it go because there would be no more headaches.
As for his motives to buy me out, one can only speculate its because hes trying to clinch a JRP sponsorship, or he’ll fix the site to sell it to the person for $6000…. Its no longer worth $6000, but good luck.

Ive never sold out on any of my sites, infact 90% of the time I pay out of my pocket or the other owner and I split. On the .com I was losing out because someone wasn’t pulling their weight.

I have no hard feelings for the guy, even though he’s banned my username, banned www.1320drag.net from the forum etc etc. Even after doing so I replied to his emails in response helping him fix the banner.

To reply to strokerace, its not another site down the drain. I’ve saved it, moved it to .net. Bought ANOTHER server and ANOTHER license. I’ve now spent over $500 us in just keeping the site running. People can decide where they would like to be, its of no consequence to me, the site is paid for. But the .com will have no place on any of these sites I operate.

Again, if anyone has any questions, fire away. If this becomes a he said she said about contracts I will scan them and air them for everyone to see as I have NO problems letting users see to what lengths ive gone to preserve the site from a commercial vendor take over.

SO DO I HAVE TO RE-REGISTER ON THE NEW SITE OR IS MY USER NAME AND PASSWORD THE SAME AS THE OLD SITE??
