Sad....
I just wanted to tell everyone this.. Some I believe already know but anyways my dad works at GM and they always have the summer help.. Well last year I put my app. in and got screwed because they ****** up the tests so barely anyone got in last year.. Well this year again I put my app. in and I got a call today. I wasnt home so when I got home I called them back and the ladys tellin me all this info about workin there.. And shes like well we will need to set up the test time that you can take it. And she says "The testing time will be Saturday March 4th at 9:00 or 12:00, can you make either of these times?" This was the only testin date right now.. And saddly I had to say no because I leave one day earlier to go to Mexico. The one Saturday that im not around they have it on..
Well the lady said she would put a note in my file sayin that I am very interested in workin, but I just couldnt make that date.. So I am really hopein that they have another date that I can go because I really would like to make that money.. (somewhere around $18/hr) I think we are going to call them back later next week to see if they have another date, and make sure that they know I am going on my Spring Break and I will be out of the country.. Its not like i just didnt want to go or something..
Well I just wanted to share that with everyone..

thats too bad. o well. on the brightside, what will happen is they might give you a date after you get back from Mexico, then you know for sure that you have a set date for it and you can go to Mexico worry free and have peace of mind. that would be the best. good luck, hope it works for ya.

I would postpone the trip. Work is way more important than going to Mexico. Having hired people if someone told me they can't make the date becasue of spring break, they lost the job (shows where priorities are, and typically what kind of worker not always, but statistically it does)

Yeah... thats like 2-3 weeks away... Im sure he already planned his trip out.. He doesnt have to tell them that hes gone for spring break. **** happens, either way youre losing somthing.

I have had this trip planned since last year.. And its been paid for since December.. So theres no pushing it back, and also its over my spring break. Its not like I can just take it a week later.. And the job is just summer help, its not like im going to work there the rest of my life or anything..
They will have another date to take the test, so Im not worried.. And they called again today and asked me again, so they know I wanna work.. And Brian....... Shut up...
