Selling your car

When it comes to selling your car, how would you sell it? Would you advertise it to private buyers, or would you try and sell it to a dealer?

In my opinion you would be better off selling it private as you should make more money out of the deal.

I have sold a few in the past and have always ended up selling to a dealer for a trade in. It's probably not the best when it comes to money but it is a lot simpler overall. I have never regretted doing it that way.

I prefer to do private sales. Its a little bit more of a hassle, but I like getting the cash in my hand rather than the value the dealer says its worth.

Also when I sold my car I didn't want another car, so that's something else you should consider if you are selling a car.

If you just want to get rid of a car I think you should sell it privately, but if you are getting rid of one car to get another car you should probably trade it in with a dealer.

Private seller 100%
Dealers pure jack you, you lose. They make their money one way or another. But I have to agree, if there is a car at a lot and the dealer offers you good money compared to the market value, go for it. Way less hassles.

private

on another note - if you have any mods, your better off parting it out and then selling as stock.

I put my car on private sale before, but there are amount of people sending unreasonable offer, so I end up trade my car back to the dealer for another car.
