Most people have seen the TV ad with Vin Diesel in it by now. Supposedly, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker have been asked to do the next one together. I'm a sucker for bad acting, and car chases, so guaranteed I'll be there. Paul Walker has turned out to be a hell of an actor. I'm going to come out and say, the next Steve McQueen. It's been said before, and the comparison has been made, and I agree. Just watched 8 Below, and that was a good movie, well, as far as Disney movies go.

Opening race I think was superb other than a bit of exageration, that monte carlo with full out slicks was pure badass Its great that there was hardly any computer graphic b/s and that the actual crashes and wreckage was realistic (of course I think the main character shoulda been killed in the first wreck being that he was only wearing a lap belt). I think tokyo drift is the best f & f, good lack of cheesyness compared to the previous ones, and a good attempt to make the action realistic.

the sand gets imbeded in the hot slick and acts as a traction aid ( like grip tape)
