that's the problem when you don't build a product (sony has no lcd manufacturing capability and outsources them all)it is a common problem with lcd's but the q/c is better when you put your name on the product

Yeah my dad just ordered a Sony flat screen for the computer and I'm waiting to see if it has dead pixels.
