I assure you its not rigged, its just stupid. A friend of mine was on that show, Joey Anderson, you might remember the episode with the T/A vs the Civic? the owner of that car owns Tick Performance, which is located here, hes in my car club. He said the show is ********, that it might as well be played out with a set of poker cards and who can sandbag better.

But as I said before, it is entertaining at times, but also very frustrating.

On a side note - about it being rigged, they did have him take his alcohol system and tune down his car before he went against the civic so it would have a 'chance'. Lol.

there have been about 10 people who were on the show that say they were told to lose (and did not lose their car in the end) it's set to make people who kind of like cars happy, and **** car guys off

Well, whatever the case may be, its a dumb show. But it is slightly entertaining at times.
