Yeah I applied for Best Buy last week (for the 4th time now), Im hoping that I can get hired there. I know its not much better, but at least its somthing that I would enjoy doing, and would help out with my future career.

I applied back in July, and they called me in august saying I would have to reapply becuase I wasnt moving til the end of august and their applications expire in 30 days. I thought that was ********, so I just transfered my current job and have worked there. Now that my friend works there, he talked to the manager so I should be getting a call here soon. Ill call when I get back home.

best buy doesn't hire people with knowledge regularly (I've done 4 interviews with them, and finally was told I can't be hired because I know too much, and they want the guy who knows enough to be dangerous so they can pay them less)

I meant if I move to geek squad, that would be good to add to my resume since my major is ITT.
anyway, best buy will pay me more than taco johns, so I cant argue that.

As a matter of fact a few of my friends work at the Best Buy here, I just got off the phone with one and he said that typically guys get pulled off of the sales floor to go into the Geek Squad, so you might have to work your way up. He also said, depending on the size of the store, and if you have the guys that go to the houses to set stuff up, you might be able to apply for that right out of the box. I guess those guys get that little VW Bug to take home - hey its gay, but its free gas.
