lmao I can't believe I'm doing this, but my girlfriend and I have been together for 10 months, we both really know we're going to end up together, and she has been hinting about it here and there, in this case it sucks when I know how to read her perfectly. Anyway, so I went to KMart headquarters today, and across the street from headquarters is Somerset collection mall, which is a kinda high-end mall where like only certain stores are there and only there, it's the real ritzy mall, so I went there and looked for rings. Sure enough, I found one that was decently within my limit using that whole "half of your yearly income" rule of thumb, well I used half of that because my gf knows how much i can afford and she's real down to earth.. not worried about the biggest rock just the meaning behind it, so I went and found one she'd really like in that limit and i bought it. I got butterflies in my stomach, can't believe I'm going to do this. She always said she wanted a long engagement, like 3 years or so, so I figure we know its going to happen might as well do it now. lol well just had to vent and gossip about it so I don't slip and gossip to her haha.

I had a helluva time keeping myself from telling her about the ring before I actually proposed to her......guess thats why I didn't wait very long, heh.
You'll be sick to your stomach for a while, but it will be worth it when she sees the ring......
