Tattoos
Well Im thinking for my 21st this weekend that I want to get a tattoo. I havent completely picked out what I want, but I have a couple ideas. Heres the ones Ive been thinking of, let me know what you think:
This is one that I drew up... Id want it in the center of my back inbetween my shoulders... One or the other
Dane Cooks SuFi. Id either want it on my shoulder, or my left forearm
Or I want a chinese character on each of the back of my calfs. Either Family, Friends, or Love

I have love and hate in chinese just below my collar line....one of those things you do when your 18 and get stuck with I guess
they don't mean much to me know, but whatever, I got them where they are so you'll never see them if I don't want you too
just make sure that it's something you can look at in 10,20,30+ years and say "Yea, that was a good idea"
EDIT: where are you thinking of getting them done at (as in Tattooist)? My Friend Adam Chiodo runs his own shop called Ink Tailor in Fridley (Just up Central Ave before the 694 cross) and has won numerous awards/ trophies, and has national recognition....in my opinion he's the best bang for the buck

Paar, please dont just goto your local tattoo parlor and ask for a tattoo, research your artist and find who you want. Remember, this **** will be on you FOREVER.
And take some more time deciding what you really want. When your 50 and you see a SuFi on your back, what are you going to think?
I have three tattoos myself, all on my back as so nobody has to see them professionally, and all of them have deep meaning.

Yeah thats why when I get a tatoo it will be in like 5 years when I have money and have finally decided what I want. I don't want some random ******* giving me a tatoo. I especially don't want one when Im drunk on my 21st haha.

I'm not a huge fan of tattoos because they will look like crap when your old and you have to stretch out your skin to see them.
Out of the ones you have I would do the one you drew up yourself. No one will even know who Dane Cook is in a couple years so you'll have to explain how that simble is from a comedian that you liked when you were in college. I also say no to the asian letters because that seems to be a fad right now and like all fads will go away but the tatto will always be on you.

I want something that has meaning behind it, im not getting the chinese characters because its a fad, but because they have meaning behind them with just a symbol. An english word would look retarded over just a symbol, plus less cluttered and tacky imo.
And I plan to get them where clothes would normally cover, but I really dont care if I have one on my forearm. Ive seen cops, older guys in geek squad, and other professions that have sleeves and tattoos on their neck... Im not to concerned that I will never get hired over a tattoo.
