Tribute to the AMD Athlon XP Thoroughbred 'B' (Computer Geek Warning)
Well...I dug up my old CPU I had shelved for about a year now for an AMD Athlon XP Barton 2500+, and I popped her into my "new" MB...To Say the least, there an engineering marvel, especially for its time....I just wanted to pay tribute to that with sum screenies....
CPU-Z CPU
CPU-Z Motherboard
CPU-Z Memory
SiSoft Sandra Arithmetic
SiSoft Sandra Multi-Media
SiSoft Sandra Memory
A few details...
AMD Athlon XP 1700+ Thoroughbred 'B' JIUHB STOCK 1.47Ghz @ 2.1Ghz @ 1.8VCore
DFI AD77 Pro Via KT400 Motherboard
512MB of PC2700 2.5-3-3-7 Nanya DDR Ram
ATI Radeon 9600 256MB Video Card
40GB Seagate Barracuda IV 7200rpm HDD
40GB Maxtor 7200rpm HDD
SB Live!
Yep...Basic system, and all it does is convert AVI's to VOB's for me....its great....
BTW The reason why it says in the screenies that its a 2400+ is cuz i unlocked the 5-12.5 multipliers on the CPU (only nForce 2 chipsets do it automatically) and am using a multiplier of 12...
