Turbo Dodge Update, I finally found a fast one...

The GTi is recognized as the first sport compact that went good and was meant to. The Omni GLH (goes like hell) Turbo 2.2L was almost called the coyote (rabbit killer) they even came out with the Omni GLHS (goes like hell some more) that ran high 14s in the 80s. B16? where? Your trying (pretty hard too..young and ing stupid) to say that, for example, a C5 Vette wrote the book on musclecars when a well tuned 1969 1/2 440 sixpak dodge superbee will kick its *** from now till next wednesday...stock. It can be on like donkey kong.

Only if the 440 has the 6 pack. you take the same car without the six pack, the car is a sled.

hate to mag race ... but i dunno about your numbers.... ive got a july 1986 issue of Road & Track showing the specs of the Omni GLH and GLH Turbo. It shows the GLH doing 9.4 to 60mph and 17.2 in the 1/4. The GLH Turbo shows up as 8.2 to 60mph and 16.2 in the 1/4. Both cars are 85 model year.
The Shelby GLH S went 6.7 to 60mph and 15.3 in the 1/4 according to the stats listed.
I understand that magazine times are not always 100% accurate, but the do give you an approximation. All the times stated are quite a bit off from 14's.

Hmm, 14.9@*95MPH*, with better traction 14.7 is easily achieved with that MPH, I can dig up A LOT more stats but I figure this is enough.

95 mph shows some decent potential i have to say, but as the time goes down that mph will also, so i doubt that thing could be driven much better in stock form.
