UFC 79 - What do you think?
Well hell I'm as happy as a pig in mud to tell you the truth.
GSP rips apart Matt Hughes in the second round and really it couldn't have turned out better. Hughes was a classy guy at the end though accpeting defeat. It sounded like he is gonna retire. (He got my hopes up)
Previously to the main event, Lidell and Silva went at it and heck I thought it was a good fight (spinning backfist, WTF?). Those guys can bang. I like em both cuz they're 2 guys that could probably make me my pants. Lidell def. deserved that win. What do you guys think is next for Lidell?
Oh, and on a separate note, Serra is gonna get filled when he faces off against GSP.

I absolutely loved the way GSP took down Matt Hughes twice from the clinch by basically running thru him, and lets not forget about the hip toss near the end of the fight! He took him down with 30 seconds left and was able to finish him.....I loved every second of it!

I feel the exact same way about Silva - such a shame! I really think he just buckled though. The nerves must have got to him...? But at least Liddell looked better than he did in his fight against Jardine though.

Rep Power: 712 i like both fighters and to tell you the truth i would have been happy either way. i really wanna see silva again, that man is a machine. i say give him a chance to warm up to the UFC feeling. although he was a god in japan, no?
