United93
I knew this would happen... On a thread we had a while ago, I asked you guys how long did you think it would take before they made a movie about September 11th? Well, they made one. Personally, I really cant believe they made one so soon, but I think I might go see it.

I don't know, it's been half a decade already. I see maybe one movie at the theaters every two years on average but I'll probably go see this.
I flew the week after 9/11 and while on the plane I was reading all these different Time magazine special editions about it with pictures of people jumping from the towers. I was very close to joining the military afterwards too.

I watched the movie about flight 93 on Lifetime and I thought that one was done very well.It was hard to watch, just because it is obviously so sad,but still glad I watched it..
I will go see the one in the theatre.

IMO i wont be going to see it either. I hate it when they re-inact an event in history dramatically. ex. Pearl Harbor, Titantic, and others. Id perfer to watch a well done and research documentary about the events, but thats me. Ill save my money and go watch something worth wild..HARD CANDY.

I dont think its bad that they make movies on it, it just bothers me on how short of time they did it. People might still be severly emotionally damaged since it was only 5 years ago. I just believe they should give it time to pass a little.

Because, no matter how dramatic they make it look, it will never compare to the actual event.

They arent trying to make a movie that helps people feel the pain so you say. They are trying to make a movie that will make millions no matter what you hear them say they arent looking to make a movie that is the same because that wouldnt sell, so they put dramatics in it so people will go see it in the theater and then buy it on dvd.
I dont think its coming out too soon, because people need to suck it up and deal with what happen. Sorry to sound cold hearted but it happend so its about time to get over it. I know ill probably get some heat for saying that but its the truth.
