Yall are insane. This new concept is gorgeous nothing is wrong about it. You cant say much about the front end being to pointy from one pic. It actually fits the body style and makes it look even better. The challenger has a pointy front end to if you look at it from that same angle. As far as the challenger...wow tlak about heavy and its even longer then a 4th gen! As where the 5th gen is shorter.
Mikerock the valus on 4th gens is already decently low I see LS1s in the paper at dealers for like 8-9 grand how cheap are you looking to get?????

[general rant, not directed at anyone here]The worst part is that everyone asked GM to bring over the Monaro. They do, badge it as the GTO, and people complain. The old saying "You never can make everyone happy" sure fits in the lines of GM; people always have something to complain about. It annoys me, especially with the 5th gen concept. People were complaining because the nose is too pointy, while they go on and on about how the challenger looks great. Has anyone seen the Challenger from the side? The Challenger's nose extends like 6 inches further out to form a point, the Camaro from the side is pretty blunt compared to the Challenger. Then people say it's bulky and heavy looking, but the Challenger is sweet. Dood, the Challenger is 4000+ lbs and longer AND higher than the 4th gen Camaro, and the 5th gen is like 10 inches shorter; go figure! Never can make everyone happy, I just hope all the negative comments AREN'T heard by GM and they still go forth and bring the Camaro back, it'd be a sad day if all the negative comments made GM nervous and they pull the plug.[/end general rant]

let them pull the plug. when we complain we are well aware of the possibility of that. i wouldnt be sad if the camaro was canceled. leave it as it was. trying to resurrect it with what looks like a mix of all the different concepts out there is a failure. its hideous. im going to check it out this week at the LA Auto Show and maybe my opinion will change, but as of right now, im glad im driving a pontiac and not a chevy.

the back end looks pretty good, and even the front end from and angle looks good, but overall its just eww. the wheels are huge too. i saw something a few weeks ago on some site that showed the undercarriage. independent rear axle, dual exhaust, mechanically it might turn out okay, but even if i "get used to" the look as i do with most cars, it still wont be as "Camaro" as the Camaro.
