Some things to ponder:
- Wilmington plant is under production, conveniently it can handle another line added that would estimate around 100k/yr, hmm...
- CAD drawings for the undercarraige of a "concept vehicle?" Interesting, considering every other concept vehicle is a body slapped ontop of another vehicle's chassis... That's a lot of engineering in a "concept vehicle."
- Since most of the "hardware" -- the engine and driveline and crap like that -- is already in production on other vehicles, you won't see too many specific "Camaro" hardware items popping up for tooling... so it'd be easy to "sneak" things in there.
- Hmm, when's the 40th anniversary?

Ahh I knew it... 07 Meiss, that was my prediction, and hopefully they still follow through for that, or at least shoot for it.
I heard on another forum that this was concept 1 of 2... Have you heard anything like that?

D'oh, one thing I forgot to mention; the interior is going to change. Most obviously, the steering wheel will be different because obviously there's no airbag in that one.

i hate to be so negative, but i still don't like it. Im almost positive they will come out with something in 07'. it would be stupid not to. i however, will be looking for an 00 ss or another first gen when this thing comes out.

Man its a camaro and im a camaro lover so even if i dont like every thing about it thats why we mod our cars. If i had the money i would buy one. But thats just my opinion. Im just glade they are going to bring it back.

i don't feel the need or desire to go newer than my car in the fbody line.
I love the first gens and early second gens. And this car does a pretty good job looking retro, but i really don't see a camaro in it.
it's awesome they're doin something, mad props for that.
i'm still lookin for my 67-73...
and until then, i'll keep my 87
??
i guess.
i didn't really think any of that thru...but y'know...stuff.

god those rims are too big 21 and 22s .. too big.. then again it looks hella bulky so I guess they work?
The interior looks nice except the incredibly ugly dashboard... I only see like 2 gadges.. where are all the other things going like the feul meter and stuff?
The thing should be fast though with that c6 vette engine.. maby I can forgive it then. but my verion of it less fatter is much sexyer.

The 21 and 22s are only for the concept and will not be carried over to the production vehicle. Look at the pics I uploaded of the interior, right infront of the shifter are the 4 other gauges, fuel and such.

they obviously took the styling from a 69 camaro. the headlights, the lines, the interior the gauges. its pretty obvious where they styling came from, but it just dosen't look right. i hope the actual 07 camaro looks a little more refined, something with softer lines and not as bulky and jagged. its a camaro not a gigantic arrow.
