man..least minum wage peeps WORK... this is about welfare people..welfares sitting at home on my dime... not doing anything and getting everything handed to em...then them bitching about it...
Some do use it for its intended purpose and Im fine with that, but ya - those ppl who seriously abuse it should be booted out of it. I remember a lil ways back (I think PC's were in power in the 90's) they wanted to give ppl a max of 4 months to get on their feet, then anything past 4 months you'd have to pay back - so if yer on it a year, then you owe 8 months amount back into the system. Well of course ppl freaked at this and it got shot down - too bad too. I also think that if you can't find a job within 4 months - let the gov putcha to work doing super shitty jobs no one wants to do - that'll motorvate their asses to find other employment.

Well I think we have to pay some of them off with Welfare...cause then those crackheads would be robbing your house and ganking your car. Then I would have to move to a gated community and buy a sick heater to blast holes in these skids if they came near me like in the US.

do you know what its like to want somthing good, but nobody gives a ?
i know what its like, i dropped out of highschool caus i was failing, and didnt care anymore, caus i didnt have support or guidance required as a kid should.
i went homeless, some frends helped me out..it sucked.
i never did drugs or was dependant in any other way...mostly just misguided.
one of my frends mom set me up with welfare, so i could have a proper place of my own to live.
do you know what many years of mental abuse does to a person? without guidance?
i didnt know a dam thing about life, about society...and i still dont know .
welfare would make you look for jobs, i did that, got a few, had short temper and anger problems...some would say thats just being a spoild brat...but they didnt know the big picture.
i would lose jobs, then they would cut me off, and id be stuk with nothing again, have to start over...losing apartment, everything.
this happend to me for 3 years...when my family doctor got me a psychaitrist...who i actually stopped seeing...caus i thought it was stupid...
but at least i got diagnosed with some sort of disorders...i forget...i guess thats part of it.
and got on disability.
trust me it was a legitimate disabilty claim. since then, someone told me that i didnt need a hiskool diploma, to goto my comunity college...where was that peice of information when i needed it...everyone telling me id never go anywhere, so i didnt bother to try.
15 years it took me, to get my life in order. It dont just happen overnight.
so i went to college, and now i run my own photography business, and i do ok.
i still dont know about life or society, but luckily my sister helps me out with that.
so sometimes there is cases where it is needed. and you cant expect miracles, things happen in their own time...
if it wernt for that system, id probly be dead somewhere, and wouldnt have even been able to afford to bury myself.
also, some people just dont have the skills for some things.

I think welfare is great, gives ppl support. But there always gonna be a bunch of jerks who take advantage of it. They need a better way to find out who frauds the welfare system and throw there *** in jail.

im proud of my accomplishments, even if it took me 15 yrs and a bit of welfare along the way. im out from under that now, and it feels great to be my own person, doing a job that i love, and doing it well.
