For going Fastest
AUTO or 5spd/6spd?

It depends if you like shifting or not. But typically an auto will have a lower ET and manual cars typically trap higher.

So for fastest go with manual
but for quickest go auto

auto is faster down the track

When built properly autos are sick,

even the SLR is auto and alot of other high end cars
because when the ratios are right it flies

btw what is is with supras and "unlocked" trannys?

It is possible to pull of 8 second ET's in a manual trans car.

If you're going to bracket race, an auto is way better. Much more consistent times.

i'd go with manual too. its more fun. but if you want to run an auto, thats cool. iunno, if i bought an auto car for some sort of setup, i'd think i'd regret it in the long run
