Twin charging is the usage of a turbo, and supercharger. I beleive Hyundai started the concept, and VW is using it in Europe on a 1.3l motor.

It was used on the Lancia rally Group B car back in the mid 80's

Nissan Micra's came superturbo. 933cc engine, 0-100km in 7 seconds. okay for the 80's, I guess.

If you give some respect out for the STI`s you will get some back too, to me you sound immature. A lot of the members around here think that there car`s are fast cuase they run in to the 12`s.
Maybe we can meet this summer and see how fast can you go.
Here is some pictures of my old setup:

Engine bay

FMIC

This is at 21 psi - I do run 25 daily.

The new setup is very very different. You will have to find out for yourself how slow you car is.

Drive safe

That dyno graph must have been taken during tuning, cuz it seems like you have some sort of fuel issues around 5400 RPM, or your turbo just ran out of breath...

Oh i have respect for the STi as a car.. just not for many of their owners. Cuz for every ignorant ***** with an SRT there is an ignorant ***** with an STi. When the only insult they can come up with is calling it "just a neon" and that the SRT has roll down rear and power front windows... Many STi owners suffer from SRT syndrome, where they buy a relatively fast car and put a BOV, MBC/EBC, and TBE then think they are the fasted thing on the road...

Seems like your car is pretty nice there... if you are at Ultimate, you'll know Lionel... he tuned my car and does almost all the Ultimate Racing cars as well. Infact, Johnson was suppoed to set me up with an HKS F-con V-pro standalone. It looks like you basically bought a stage IV turbo upgrade with ECU tek management from Ultimate with some sort of 3" Up-pipe, Down-pipe, and exhaust. Johnson makes some nice stuff... and that blue bug-eye subbie with the "dog-box" tranny is one sick setup as well. The blue turbo 350z that was cayuga last august running mid 12's was a sick sleeper.

As for running in the summer... i'll pull beside anything. A race is a race... if i loose who cares. Unfortunately i got rid of my SRT in the fall, and have been building another project car over the winter... here's a pic

Respect has to be earned!!! You can't go around lying about what car you own and expect ppl to respect you .

As for you racing boosted kruzer, I'm pretty sure the srt-4 has been sold but if not I'd like to see that. EDIT: I'm a really slow typer, haha

Now why would you dyno the car with less boost then you drive on the street? That just doen't make sence.

Your powerband is not at all impressive on the dyno sheet. Its about 2.5K wide(being generous), full boost just before 5K and power drops off hard before 7K. Lets hope your next set-up works out better for you. Its not all about peak power. And IMHO, a timeslip holds more weight than a dyno sheet. Pretty nice #'s none-the-less, but like I said ,your powerband leaves something to be desired.

You are correct. There is always some guy who's an ***, with an STI or SRT4. So far I have not lost any race to a SRT4 but there is some pretty bad ones out there. Johnson has one at the shop running GT35R and putting down over 400 WHP. STI is my weekend/Racing car. I am thinking to get an SRT4 and do some crasy stuff to it.
Lionel is not around the shop very often.
Your new ride looks very nice. I had a friend in Buffalo that had one with 400whp, the only problem is that with out slicks they always run into traction problems. There is a lot of power and they are too light.

Maybe we can meet one of these days. I will pm you my #.

Take care

^^^ yeah you're talking about the red one, with ultimate racing turbo kit. It has tubular manifold and is running F-con pro with a cutom crank trigger and what not. Very nice setup. But i think the power is somewhat disappointing... considering my car was making very close to the same power on... (and yes i do know exactly what it put down)
- 91 octane gas (not 94)
- Apex'i SAFC II (not f-con)
- 50 Trim .63 A/R non Ball bearing (not DBB GT35R)
- 20 psi

But i'm sure the numbers will only get better...

We did tune the car at 21 on the dyno and after that because I wanted more boost we went for a road tune. Actualy I am more a believer on a road tune than a dyno tune. Going with a bigger turbo than the GT35R that I have now and at the same time changing all my shafts and tranny. Stock tranny as its limits around 600 whp.
I agree with the time slip but you can have a great fast car and a bad driver(myself), that may not prove if your car is fast.
