I believe he meant part was like "a p3nis" (edited due to swear filter, lmao that ...THAT... is filtered) because of the cone that comes down from the center of the scoop.

Well, hit the official speedbump. My dad said to wait until afterwards. He wants to see it painted, or get it done professionally. "Hell, you might even be able to get a decal in there or something, because it has to be recessed and you can't really do that with this hood."

take a pic from inside. If the cowl is open you'll do more performance harm than good opening it up (you are going to draw from the cowl anyway, opening it up just will make the hood want to lift)

Ah, good point! The cowl is definitely open from the back. I took two pictures, but the reflection from the flash off the windshield all but made it impossible to see the cowl. I'll take some when it's not getting ready to pour and getting dark, that way I won't need the flash lol.
