Anyways, on with the thread.

zapa, In lew of your recent responses and general "pot stirring" as of late, i must ask, why? You and I have had it out a few times before, on the issues of national pride and what not and i respect and value your views and opinions, you are well spoken, well thought out and have a great amount of knowledge, and i have many a time agreed with your not so nice but right points.

So in turn, I ask why you have such an issue with People being pro canadian? Why do you have to voice up and make it known that romainia is much better (in your oppinion).

Why can you not just man up and admit, To most people in Canada, it is the best place in the world, sure some parts, well they are not that great but find me one country where everyone gets along all the time and there is no crime and immigrants who shouldnt be there (you and i agree on this, people come to this country wont learn the language and expect the nation to change to them its not right and is a bain on any socity)

But then again, how far out of Toronto have you been? 3 hours, maybe 4? have you ever been to Calgary or Newfoundland? Ever been to good parts of B.C, Not downtown but in the mountains, have you ever experienced life in Canada other then that of a major city? if not then I urge you visit some place before April.

I guess what im asking is why do you find it nessisary to make sure everyone Knows that your not happy and your home land is so much better, because maybe to people here, this is our home land and we love it like you love yours (who not all people agree is the worlds best place to live im sure) Why do you find it nessisary to rag on someones Career choice and try to insult and belittle him, because you dont agree with it? Why do you feel the need to make sure everyone knows your Views if we want to hear them or not?

I ask because I am aware you are leaving this country and I would just like to understand?

i get how i get because i react to other people's words and actions . half of the stuff i say , i say because i'm pissed , because people here make me say it , or idiots that i ran into during the day make me say it .

my country is not better than Canada , otherwise i woudn't have spent 10 years here . my country has it's flaws , but the people are not and will never be as brainwashed as here ... however as a nation , and i'm sorry that this will sting some ... romania would be MUCH further should IT be sitting next to the US and not Canada ...

and you know ... maybe it's not the canadian's fault ... maybe it is just that what you said ... this country is paradise for some ... people who are part of nations that are destroying themselves ... and they come here for a better life ... integrating and downgrading canada's society by making it closer to home ... people get stabed , building smell , people drive bad , and theese are stereotypes in which canaian , pure canadian people don't .... who knows ...

also i just feel i should add to this, many of my freinds are east-eurpoeans and i myself am romanian, we do alot of debating and discussing over the same topics Zapa here shares on the boards. Its really about how different the 2 cultures are, i mean the way we were brought up in europe is so much differant than the lifestyle here. if you ask me Canada's culture is a mess because of the great cultural diversity of all its inhabitants. I don't hold anything agains any single race, i hold many things against governments and people who control our lives. The fact is North Americans in general are brain washed and like Zapa stated back in our home country EVERYONE questions y and formulates their own opinions, in other words we are not. Many things are wrong with Romania it USED to be a great country but its most unimportant now, many of you i am sure don't even know where romania is located or even that it exists. I could keep ranting on but its pointless i guess the final message is this, do as much as you can to control your own lives, don't take things for granted and don't believe everything you hear. If anything at least Canada is better than the States i mean, just look at their representation towards the world..(bush)

maybe i have been watching too many conspiracy videos (loose change version 2) but honestly it makes perfect sense. all of that could have been a huge cover-up by the govt, a huge scam and that video cleary outlines everythign the govt would have to gain from such a scam.

That is perfectly correct and its the same reason i am in this country just like many others. From that point of view i must agree with you, Canada is very sheltered from alot of bullshit that other countries have to go through. I acctually cannot name another country i'd ratehr be living in but that doesnt mean it doesnt have its flaws. ok maybe i should restate my main problem, its that that you guys take too much for granted, and at the same time you put too much trust in your govt.

Canada is not that great, a friend was sitting next to me 1 hour ago actually and said something very interesting : Its been 8 years and im still waiting for my papers, we've been ****ed over by 3 lawyers, I cant work, I cant go to school, and it costs me 140$ for a doctors prescription. The goverment says I can stay here, but I cant do anything to support myself, Then they wonder why so many immigrants go into crime.

The difference between europeans and everything else is that EUROPEANS built this nation. Yet our governement lets the non-stop pour of third worlders into this country. The way these people work in the workplace its no wonder there countries are in such bad economical shape. Yes I am talking about the majority. There was a recent survey done that over 50% of canadians prefer immigrants from western countries, I would have to agree. Look at china town in toronto there are over 2 generations of canadian born asians that dont speak a world of english, why should they? everything is written out for them in chinese. WE have two official languages in canada french or english. Learn one or get the **** out.
