ie got deleted
the spy sweeper deleted my internet explorer and when i try to reinstall it, i get a message saying, " A previous installation has pending work requiring a reboot. You need to restart your computer to complete that installation before running Internet Explorer Setup. Setup will now close."
I've rebooted several times and the same message keeps appearing. Anybody know what I could do other than reformatting since i don't have the cd anymore.

Internet Explorer cannot be deleted. It's part of the entire OS. If you open windows explorer, and type in an address, it will still take you there. Don't worry about it, just use Opera or Firefox.

you might want to check in WinXP IE can be deleted. If you go to control panel and then add/remove programs and then under the windows components you can remove then re-install IE.
I use fixfox as well however there are always just a couple sites designed just for IE.
