Looking at buying a new one since my Mini disc broke, i dont want to dish out a lot just because i want to have some money left over so i can buy my car. So im thinking about just blowing a pay cheque instead. I am currently looking at the RCA 256mb mp3 for 130 at future shop. Worth it? And how many songs roughly will it hold?

eh, RCA is eh? Hmm... See i dont want to dish out so much money, just simply im buyin this thing for a few trips when im not driving, and then in april i hope to get a car, so i dont want to blow a lot of money considering i dont get paid 2 much. Maybe 240 a month. . I once had a sony, MD to be exact, works fine still, only problem is the phone jack is broken, lol.

Its interesting, no screen or nothing though. It looks so plain.
But the price is pretty dirt cheap, how many songs can that 512 hold anyways? Eh im looking for a cheap route and a lot of storage and quality.

Yeah, i was just reading about it 120 songs, for 130 bucks. That isnt bad, when a 256 that i want for 130, would hold a lot less more, and then again 120 is more than enough songs, thats probably what those people with the ipods have eh? lol. But yeah is it released yet?

yes it's been released, but they've been so popular it'll be tough to get your hands on one right away... I'll probably pick one up in a month or 2 when they're easier to find, or maybe even if someone sells a used one. I already own a 20 gig ipod, but I tend to get nervous when using it during physical activities...

I get nervous using my 20 gig because I payed a total of $540 including taxes and warranty... So this weekend while I was snowboarding, I took a spill in the halfpipe and the first thing I thought of wasn't my chest I just fell on, it was mainly the $540 device that I had just crushed...
The shuffle is the size of your finger or a tiny pack of gum, you can't even compare it to a regular sized ipod, it's a whole different category. It uses a rechargeable internal battery that charges every time you plug it into your usb port.
