PAL to NTSC Conversion

I've been reading on the internet of several ways of converting video in PAL to NTSC. I am trying to accomplish this but do not have the foggiest of how to do this. google produced an overwhelming amount and most were different. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any solution for me.

Thanx, Simon.

nero 7 doesn't do it, it keeps burning it in PAL, and my dvd player doesn't support it.

OK my bad. I guess my $24.99 Canadian Tire DVD player plays Pal as well as NTSC.

OK, I went through and checked through the menus in Nero 7. If you click on the MORE tab at the bottom, after you upload the Video, there is a video options tab. Click on that. There is an option to write in either NTSC or PAL. If you DLed Nero from a host in Europe, chances are he had that set when he rared it. Just set it over to NTSC, and you're good to go. If you need help when you fire it up, just add me to MSN, and I'll help you through it. I've burned about 100 movies with Nero 7 now, so I'm pretty familiar with it.
