vista 3d flip

ive got vista on my new machine but i dont see it doing the 3d flip between windows. is this something that i have to download or something that i have to initialise or whats the deal?

no it's built into Vista... In your Quick Launch tool bar you'll see the little blue icon with white windows in it.. that'll activate it. check my 2nd screen shot I circled it for you.

yup found it not too logn ago, btu i cant use a keyboard shortcut for it even though i specified one

How do you get that flip 3d icon for the quicklunch? Mine is just the desktop icon on there.

try dragging to the quick launch or right click it and see if it give you an option in the properties to add it to the quick launch

It is not Available in Vista home Basic, only Pro, Business and Ultimate

ive figured it out, you hold down that windows button on the keyboard and press tab i believe, im on my laptop so i cant double check, but itll flip the .

yea you got it judge,
Alt+Tab for old style and Win+Tab for Areo
although I still find myself using the old style more and more
as the Areo is just slow to switch
