Torrents or Limewire...however sharing files on LimeWire is risky.

Morpheus has never let me down but I have been downloading for years and know what not to download.I find the biggest key to success ispicking the right files regardless of what you use.

I use torrents and just download the entire cd
may not be effcient but has yet to provide me with any spyware or spam.

Mininova or pirate bay torrents if you want good quality and full albums. If you want low bitrate and a fast jam use p2p progs ie; KLR, limewire etc.

Bittorrent, Limewire only if I'm trying to sample a song or looking for a single.

Alot of files on Limewire are corrupt though, so I barely use it now

drift_n_shift has a spectacular aura aboutdrift_n_shift has a spectacular aura about
i downloaded the newest version of limewire (4.12.xxx) and installed it on my laptop... got garbage results

went to my desktop and got the version of limewire i had there (4.9.28) and installed it on the laptop... WOW... actually made a difference
from 1kb/s to 44kb/s on the SAME damn file...

anyways, for those with 4.12 and have slow speeds, less results etc. try 4.9.28

i always find a good healthy mix of everything is nice and good depending on what youre looking for...music/movies/****/whatever. as for me i use the following.

torrents for albums (utorrent or azureus)

utorrent

less stressfull on your system
easy interface
poor security measures (got my second copyright violation last week)
portforwarding options and cyclic rates made simple

azureus

extremely high pc strain
moderate security protocols
gui is top notch for stats

single songs (shareazaa/kazaalite revolution)

kazaalite revolution

a hacked version of the new kazaa with tonnes of filtering/ports/networks
first time startup long connection time
intermitent connection from then on
base code of kazaa so there needs to be a heavy duty antivirus in place

webradio live to airs and songs (streamload)

streamload is a little more complicated (not user friendly)
does the job in high quality
mainly used it for stations like di.fm or sky.fm
