Holy that post went right off the end of the ricer meter! You pretty much said that domestic cars suck, in a post about an amazing looking domestic built 400hp manual transmission RWD coupe that no doubt will be very fast, and then went on to say that you are waiting for a "kitted out" Skyline GTR... the fantasy car of ricers around the world. Wow.

They haven't put one of those in a factory production car since the very early 70s.
The srt8 hemi is a 6.1 litre rated at 425 hp at the fly wheel where all production engines are rated.
If you did dyno this car, it would have been at the rear wheels which would result in a lower number.
1970 style 426 hemi
new 6.1 hemi

I didn't say it was a 1970 hemi, I said it was a 1970 style hemi. Meaning the old style.
Way different block and heads then the new 6.1 and very much the same as the one in the pick you posted, so I don't see your point.
My point was what you called a 426 hemi, was really a 6.1 new style hemi, and the new hemi does have 425 hp not 390.
And please do us all a favour.
